It is the goal of our ministries to be proclaiming the Gospel, empowering neighbors, and lifting one another up. Our ministries are designed to empower our neighbors to shatter developed systems of dependency, in addition to providing the necessities of food, clothing, and shelter.
We accomplish these goals by offering compassionate care, skill-developing programs, and Gospel-centered teaching.
With the help of many church volunteers, Franklin Avenue Mission provides 125 to 150 nutritious meals to community members on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Thanks to Dr. Robert Bouvier and his team, community members on the East side can now see a doctor on Thursdays by appointment.
The Custodial Program provides community members who are struggling with employment to learn the skills needed to become a qualified custodian, and then are assisted in applying for long-term employment.
Partnering with the Genesee County Landbank, Franklin Avenue Mission helps tend the vacant lots within our community. By mowing lawns and removing debris, crime rates diminish and ownership is restored.
Hygiene is important, and the Personals Closet is designed for individuals and families to obtain all their basic hygienic needs.
Pastor Jeff Frechette leads the Sunday service, which is held in our sanctuary directly above our dining hall.

Churches and individuals needed! Diner volunteers are responsible for helping prepare and distribute meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most volunteers belong to a team that rotates into the kitchen every 7-8 weeks.
The ROCK children’s program is a safe place for children with snacks, bible in a bag lessons and crafts.
